Venue: Sundorne Playing Fields, Sundorne Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England.

The site is about 3 miles from the centre of  Shrewsbury on the B5062.  See map below, or use Streetmap

This festival is held annually and is popular with both kite fliers and boomerang throwers.

Food will be available. Toilets and showers in the pavilion.
Camping and caravanning on the flying field.
Supermarkets: Tesco, Morrisons (cafe) and Aldi are less than a mile away.

The British Boomerang Society likes to use this site for competitions as it's one of the few sites where long distance throwing is possible. There's plenty of space for both kites and boomerangs.

  Sundorne Playing Fields are within half a mile from the intersection of the A49 and the B5062.
