Barmouth Kite Festival Held 28/29 July 2001

Details of Kite Festival 28/29 July 2001: The weather was excellent for this event and everyone felt that the sandy beach was a great place to fly. On the Saturday 23 Circoflexes were in the air at the same time. Quite a spectacle! Unfortunately, it wasn't possible to get a photo of all the kites together, but Brenda Purnell from Bristol pictured most of them in the air as shown below. Perhaps some of us did as much chatting as kite flying, but that's all part of a good kite festival, isn't it?
