Shrewsbury Kite and Boomerang Festival. 18/19 June 2005.

Sorry, pictures of the 2004 event are not yet ready. Hope to have them soon.

The date for the 2005 festival is provisional - although the organiser (Paul Morgan) says it's unlikely to be changed.
The venue may not be Sundorne Playing Fields, because Shrewsbury and Atcham Borough Council have some work to do on the field. If this is the case the Kite Festival will probably be held at Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology, London Road. Full details will be given as soon as we have more news.

Barmouth Kite Festival. Held 10/11 July 2004.
Has anyone any photos of the event there this year? Apparently it was the biggest yet.

Power Kites at Sundorne. These colourful kites are very popular and the fliers hope soon to have their own web site. We'll link to it when it's ready.

Juggling at Sundorne. Many kite fliers have a diabolo in their kit to play with when there's no wind. Now you can join the juggling club and learn new tricks. www.juggling.org.uk

Dieppe Kite Festival, September 2004. This is obviously not in Shrewsbury! However, some Shrewsbury fliers are going and Mike Pearson from Pershore is organising a coach trip. The trip will be 16-20 September 2004.
